Fr. Daniel Griffith, ordained in 2002, is a priest of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. He currently serves as pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Minneapolis. Fr. Griffith is the Founding Director of the Initiative on Restorative Justice and Healing and also serves as the Wenger Family Fellow of Law of the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he teaches courses in Jurisprudence, Catholic Social Teaching and Law, and Restorative Justice.
Fr. Griffith serves as Liaison for Restorative Justice and Healing for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and has preached on the topic of restorative justice and healing at parishes in the Archdiocese and the upper Midwest. Fr. Griffith’s experience in the area of restorative justice is, in part, informed by very challenging work that he undertook as the Archdiocesan Delegate for Safe Environment in 2013 and 2014.
